Keith Wheaton is director of communication for Advent Christian General Conference, which is the charity he is riding for. He and his wife, Kathy, have three children: Arielle – 16, Eliana – 13, and Elijah – 8. Before moving to Charlotte, N.C., in 1998, Keith served as pastor in several churches in Maine, North Carolina and Georgia.

 

In 2004 Keith was able to go with the Bike4Christ tour for the first day. Now, after months of training, he feels he may be able to survive cycling with them for the last seven days – roughly 527 miles. He’s doing it for the kids… and to raise money for ACGC. Pray for him that he will be able to complete each days’ mileage without collapsing and he will not get run off a cliff by an RV on the Pacific Coast Highway.

 

As director of communication he is responsible for ACGC’s publications, websites and video programming. Funds raised by the tour will go directly to expenses related to ACGC’s ministry of proclaiming the hope of Christ’s Return.
