DAY 20 - Tuesday, October 9 - DAILY QUOTES

Today we were able to sleep in an extra hour and have breakfast at the camp before we left. We rode an extra 40 miles yesterday so we could be at a campground with showers. This is an indicator of how much we need them.

While we ate our breakfast the AAA guy changed the flat tire of our motorhome. While riding through Morro Bay, we came across Dutch pushing Josh in a shopping cart down the sidewalk. It was unexpected and amusing. Kristi was shopping while they put a new tire on the motorhome (at the tire shop) so Dutch was returning the shopping cart to the grocery store. We saw a brush fire off to the left when we approached San Luis Obispo. It was interesting watching the planes drop fire retardent - we were at a safe distance. The ride was fairly flat and one of our shortest days - 55 miles.

The weather was sunny and warm. We arrived at the RV Park and discovered horses because it was also a ranch! This was a fun treat. Jody and Josh especially enjoyed the horses. It was nice to get to camp early so Dutch could catch up on laundry. The RV Park was really nice.
