DAY 2 - Friday, Sept 21 - DAILY QUOTES

Craig Libby - I want to thank Carlos, Ignacio, Daniel and Ulysses from Bicycle Warehouse in Chula Vista,CA for setting up Steve’s, Kristi’s and my bike for the ride.  Steve and I enjoyed the beautiful scenery while riding into tonight’s campsite.  I know some of you have been waiting three years and today was the day.  The chili socks ride again.  It was such a treat to have Dustin and Carol Wilson join us tonight for dinner.  While waiting

Jeff Schwimer - Sept. 21st. The ride today was a bit difficult, but we all made it. Still having an awesome time. Please keep all of us in prayer. It’s only the 2nd day.

Mary Schwimer - It’s only Friday but it feels like we’ve been gone for a week already! We slept in the car the first night. Jeff & I got to meet our friend David Thursday night and he gave us a wonderful tour of Portland, took us to a great restaurant for dinner and then he and his wife graciously drove us back to the group in Colton, Oregon, where Tim & Jackie let us stay at their beautiful church Thursday night. They were very sweet and made wonderful food!  The homemade applesauce was wonderful!! As was all of the homemade food. Thank you Tim & Jackie. Friday we drove up to Sumas Washington witch is right on the Canadian border. The woman of the church there made us a wonderful dinner, and we spent our last night indoors in their wonderful church. Thank you to everyone who helped us get off get up here and fed and housed us along the way. Tomorrow we start!!! I guess I am as ready as I will ever be!

Brad Neil - We are having a grand time.  Weather is good, food is good, roads are good, the scenery is beautiful, and the participants and support are great. Everyone is holding up after 200 miles in two days.  Thanks again to all my donors.
